Our customer is an international industry and trading company in the field of measurement and testing of electricity meters as well as in the distribution of monitoring systems for power transformers based in the center of the city of Zug, Switzerland. The company has a success story over more than 20 years and is constantly evolving. With around 80 employees in affiliated companies and in 5 countries, our customer serves the demanding clientele from the energy sector with its products and services. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic sales person for our markets in Russia, the Ukraine and Eastern Europe

Account / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer in the field of measurement and testing technology for the region of Russia / Ukraine and Eastern Europe

Your new challenge

  • Lead, manage and support existing sales partners in the countries of Russia and the Ukraine as well as other markets in Eastern Europe
  • Continuous maintenance and expansion of the sales network as well as evaluation of new sales opportunities, markets and target customers
  • Preparing technical offers (tenders) and handling of orders up to project completion
  • Support for sales partners and end users in technical aspects
  • Establishment and further development of the customer base, regular qualification of the existing network and reporting to the general management
  • Perform trade fairs and customer meetings in the countries of the sales territory
  • Regular visits and travelling to the sales regions (about 30-40%)

Your skills

  • You have a technical degree in electrical engineering (ETH, University, FH) and already deepened your knowledge in measuring and testing technology, electricity meters or power transformers
  • You have several years of professional experience in the international distribution of industrial goods. Experience in the energy sector is a great advantage
  • Technical understanding and product experience with electricity meters, meter test equipment or power transformers is desirable
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Due to the engagements in Russia, the Ukraine and Easter Europe, mastery of a Slavic language is of great advantage
